Drug and Alcohol Education Programs
Knowledge is power, which is why Solutions Plus offers a range of educational programs that address topics related to behavioral health and drug & alcohol use. These courses are intended to promote healthy decision making and many are also available in Spanish at the Northline Addiction Recovery Center.
All Students signing up for this class, please be sure that you visit the class location at least a day prior to the class in order to fill out all of the necessary forms needed. - Ambulatory Detoxification Treatment (Outpatient)A viable alternative to inpatient programs, our Ambulatory Detoxification Treatment provides structured, cost-effective, outpatient detoxification for adults. Participants will undergo a medical assessment and physical examination upon arrival. They will then participate in daily detox monitoring, case management, medication management, individual counseling, as well as chemical dependency groups.
The Ambulatory Detoxification Program is a 5-10 day treatment plan meets for 3-5 hours daily, at which time the patient is assessed by the nurse and licensed chemical dependency counselor. Admission to program is determined by So You Live’s medical director.
- Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) for adults.
For patients balancing outside obligations (such as work, school, or family life), the IOP is an addiction recovery program that provides continuous treatment following inpatient services. The curriculum draws upon the 12-Step philosophy, while incorporating the tools and techniques of several other clinical treatment methods. Participants will be provided with individual counseling, chemical dependency education groups, family counseling, family education groups, relapse prevention education, and spirituality awareness.
This eight-week outpatient treatment program meets three times weekly (Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday) for 3-hour sessions facilitated by a licensed chemical dependency counselor.
- Supportive Outpatient Treatment Program (SOP)
So You Live’s SOP program is ideal for people who qualify for less intensive care and who balance recovery treatment with outside responsibilities (such as work, schooling, and family). The program consists of educational group sessions as well as individual counseling and is designed to provide comprehensive treatment. Participants will touch upon a number of topics including common challenges in early recover, spirituality and emotions in recovery, internal and external drug & alcohol triggers, thinking reports, stages of change, relapse prevention, aftercare planning, sex/ relationships in recover, as well as effects of chemicals on the body.
This 90-day outpatient treatment program meets two times weekly (Wednesday and Friday).

North Houston Detoxification Treatment
Aftercare services offer a viable way to continue the recovery process after a formal treatment program has ended. Any individual who has completed a BES Group & Associates/ Soultions Plus treatment program is eligible to participate in aftercare services for a period of 18 months after their program’s completion date. The program meets for one hour weekly and offers a way for individuals to stay connected to their peers and counselors, while at the same time providing a place to discuss some of the common obstacles that arise along the road to recovery. The So You Live Aftercare services are a unique program that sets apart the BES Group & Associates/ Solutions Plus apart from among other addiction centers.
Patients who are opioid dependent may be eligible for the So You Live Maintenance Program, an intensive medication-assisted outpatient program designed to support patients in their recovery process. The BES Group & Associates developed the Maintenance Program Opioid in response to the rise in opioid dependence nationwide and today the program serves to help patients find their way back to healthy, substance free lives.
Program participants will discuss challenges in early recovery and how to overcome them, thought stopping techniques, internal & external triggers, as well as relapse prevention skills. Admission to the So You Live Maintenance Program requires approved admission (determined by the Medical Director) as well as a minimum 3-month commitment, stating that participants will participate in medical monitoring and attend weekly individual therapy with a licensed clinician.
All participants will be supported by an ample team of medical professionals including a licensed professional counselor, licensed marriage and family therapist, licensed clinical social worker, psychologist, psychiatrist, licensed chemical dependency counselor, or a Texas State designated intern. The BES Group & Associates/Solution Plus medical team consists of Texas State designated medical doctors, licensed vocational nurses, licensed registered nurses, and nurse practitioners.
The Maintenance Program is funded through private pay and insurance only.
Learning and implementing healthy life skills is a critical component of sustainable recovery. The BES Group & Associates offers a clinical team of licensed psychiatrists, licensed professional counselors, licensed professional counselor interns (Texas State designated), and licensed clinical social workers, all of whom support program participants in making positive change on a daily basis.
This professional team is equipped to address a variety of problems that arise during and after the recovery process. These issues include physical/sexual abuse (victim focused), stress and anxiety, depression, parent-child relationships, partner relationships, family relationships, coworker relationships, job loss, anger/aggressive behavior, adjustment disorders, mood disorders, and ADHD.
