Updated: Oct 4, 2022

With the summer days among us, I’m sure everyone has some fun and sun planned. And you deserve it! I want you to keep in mind during the summer that BES Group & Associates/Solutions Plus are always here to help, so you live™. It is very important for our mental health to take a break and do things that we enjoy with the ones that we love. Contrary to long held beliefs, it does not mean you are weak if you need help. Whether it is via therapy medication, or both, all of us go through hard times and changes at different times in our lives.  Veterans who are suffering repercussions from the ravages of war, students having a hard time at school, or baby boomers who are buckling under the pressure of caring for their children alongside of their elderly parents, can all benefit from mental health care. Our new BES Clinic Psychiatric Services is up and running, our staff on site is amazing and provide the best care for ADHD, PTSD, Bipolar Disorder, Anxiety Disorders, Schizophrenia and much more. We want to help you! For more information visit SoYouLive.com.

So I want to offer a few tips to make sure that you and your loved ones have the best summer yet:

  1. Drink water. Water not only keeps you cool and hydrated from the heat, but it will also boost your mood and help your headaches go away. You can read more about the benefits of water here.

  2. Surround yourself with loved ones. It’s a given that kids are out of school and there’s more time taken off for holidays and vacation than any other time of the year. With whatever free time you have, be sure to surround yourself with friends and family. It will decrease your loneliness and stress level. Spend some time with them and see!

  3. Check in with your doctor. It’s important to know about your overall health in general. The more you know about your health, the better. Talking with your doctor if you do have a health concern will get you on the right track to healthier living.

  4. Go to therapy. With our new psychiatric services we can make sure that you get the help you need! There is no shame in going to therapy, and we have an awesome doctor on staff to prove it!

I hope that you all enjoy your summer and stay cool! Stop by any one of our locations anytime, whether it is to just say hi, or if you are in need of our services! We’ll be happy to see you either way!
