Being that it is National Mental Health Month, Mental Health is an issue that does not seem to get major attention and doesn’t seem to be high on the priority list as it should. According to Medicinenet.com “Mental disorders are common in the United States and internationally. An estimated 22.1% of Americans ages 18 and older-about 1 in 5 adults-suffer from a diagnosable mental disorder in a given year.” These numbers are not getting any lower. The national mental health alliance tells us ” 20% of youth ages 13-18 live with a mental health condition, 16.3% Hispanic adults, 19.3% White adults, 18.6% Black adults, 13.9% Asian adults and 28.3% American Indians/Native Alaskans”. We here at BES Group & Associates/Solutions Plus do our very best to be a part of the solution to this growing problem in America, by providing Integrated Behavioral Health Services. Starting June 1, 2016 I am proud to announce that BES Group Inc. will be launching BES Clinic Psychiatric Services to help better serve the community. I’m also proud to announce Dr. NP Henrietta V. Evans, DNP, Board Certified Adult Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner will be taking the helm of BES Clinic Psychiatric Services. Dr. Evans has the credentials, experience and certifications too numerous to name.
